Day Trips

Day Trips meets three or four times each year, choosing places of interest to visit.  Here we name a few trips from the past:  the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, the Yale Center for British Art, Antiques and Flower Show at Lyndhurst Mansion, a play at Long Wharf Theatre, and the Ferriday House which aligned with the Book Group read Lilac Girls.  Following the trip they usually lunch at a local restaurant.

Ladies Lunch Out

Ladies Lunch Out meets alternate months beginning in September.  We visit the new, the unfamiliar and the old tried and true restaurants.  Often we repeat our favorites.  Generally, we meet during the third week of the month.

Movies

The Movie group meets when there is a movie that it is thought a number of member will like to see.  Sometimes it is a matinee which is followed by dinner with the group.  On other occasions it is late afternoon snack followed by a movie.  It depends on the group's preferences at the time.

Stitching

Our stitching group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 11 AM.  We have all manner of stitching from knitting to crocheting and quilting to cross stitch.  Substantial snacks are served since it is lunch time.  Add to that plenty of "chatter" making for a delightful break in the day.
